There are times when life gets hard, sometimes really hard and there is merely anyone their to help you. Whenever I found myself in problem , I always found myself alone. There are moments when you say to yourself, “Why is this happening to me ?” there are moments when you are going to doubt yourself. But, above these hard times there are moments which fill you up with energy and inspiration. Anyone can get motivated from success, but to get motivated from failures, is the thing.
When I was a small kid, and in a problem my father told me a story, and guess what, the same story worked every time. He told me about that ant , who always falls down while climbing a wall , but still kept trying and succeeded at last. But as we grow up, we have bigger problems and these stories look too silly to motivate us then. If you have the courage , nearly everything around would be motivating you. We all, at one point of time in our life have been broken down in a situation , due to a reason or another. With this article I’ll share among you a story of mine, in which I was broken down, thanks to my father who was their and motivated me, and raised the spark within me to fight again.
The most exciting thing about me is, whenever I am in problem, I always find myself alone. Once I made up my mind to leave blogging, as I was receiving negative comments which always let me down. So, after receiving a lot of negative and abusive comments I started believing that I wasn’t a good blogger. After much thinking I went to my father to tell him, that I am about to close my blog and leave blogging. Let me tell you my father is very passionate about me trying new things and stuff. As I went in his room, he was reading newspaper, and
I said “I am quiting my blog, won’t be able to continue it anymore …”
he leaved the newspaper , turned to me and asked “what is Wrong with it ?”
I told him ” I am receiving negative comments about my blog, and I doubt myself”
I took him to the P.C and showed him how the comment box was full of people abusing and commenting negative about my blog.
He took me to his study room and gave me a book , and said ” Read the chapter 3 …”
I took the book , went to my room and started reading what was in chapter 3. The story was about a saint who went to take bath in a river, and saw a scorpion who was about to die in water, the saint holded it in his hands, kept the scorpion on land, and as soon as he did that, the scorpion bit him hard, a man passing by saw this and laughed, same incident happened the next day too, this continued for several days until one day when a man asked “Why is it, that the scorpion bits you every time and yet you save his life, knowing that he will bit you ?. The saint said “If he is not ready to leave his habit , why should I ?..
This line worked as magic to me, I understood what my father trying to point me out. I told myself that if those commentators are not leaving their habit, why should. That was a moment when I felt myself strong, motivated, filled with optimism and in my mind lay a hope for better future. All I can say now is, there will be haters, there will be doubters, but above them all there will be you, proving them wrong, always.
